I’ll be brief with this. They advertise 24/7 customer support, but do not answer emails on weekends and do not answer phones. Instead they send automated email responses and don’t actually attend to your issue. I had over 24 hours of down-time because they screwed up a MySQL upgrade for an entire server that hosted several sites. My readers could not even access the proper administrator email to voice concerns – it would randomly show the email of other sites on the server that are not mine. Automated installs of standard packages such as phpBB are broken if you let their script do them – you have to fix it yourself. They throttle your ‘unlimited’ bandwidth if your site is too successful, and while they offer unlimited space, they have a limit on the number of files you can host, which is never mentioned before you sign up.

They also do not refund your money in cases of service interruptions, or if you decide that six more months of hosting is something you’re not going to use anymore.

Don’t depend on their live chat either – they’ll disconnect you when they’re tired of talking to you, and will automatically disconnect you if you attempt to reconnect.

Overall, I would not use them again, nor recommend them for anyone else to use. You can get cheaper and better hosting from someone else. My website is my job and my source of income – if it’s the same for you, why go with a host who doesn’t care if you have a problem, and won’t fix it during the weekend? I don’t know how many readers I lost during the outage, but Google Analytics showed a definite dip in hits afterwards.

I used Omnis for going on seven years, but not any more. Their customer service has full-on disappeared! When I was first with them, they were excellent. I’m not sure what happened, but now nobody will actually communicate with you about issues, and they’re extremely rude when you do manage to get in touch with them. I’m sorry to have seen what used to be an excellent host go so very, very bad.

Omnis is supposed to be a trusted name in Web hosting, but I found my own experience with them to be less than stellar. They started out great, but it wasn’t long before they were having trouble taking care of the simplest things, like making sure my site stayed up and my concerns were addressed – and good luck getting them to answer customer service emails! Do yourself a favor and pick a different hosting company. You’ll be glad you steered clear of Omnis.

I can’t say enough good things about Omnis! I’ve read some negative reviews about them, but I haven’t had any problems at all. I’ve been hosting my site there for months and it’s never gone down. I’ve had a couple small problems, but they worked with me to get them fixed quickly. I haven’t had to email them more than once to get a response from customer service, and I feel like I made the right choice.

I’ve used Omnis for three months now. So far my experience with them has been ok. They’re a little slow to answer my emails sometimes, but what do you expect for the price? They don’t cost much, and I didn’t expect to get much for what I was spending. I wasn’t really disappointed, though. Omnis has done alright. It’s just not as fancy as a bigger, more expensive Web hosting company and you don’t get as many choices.

So far, I’m not sure how I feel about my Omnis Web hosting. I haven’t had it for very long, so it’s hard to judge on such a short time. I know that I like the price, but I’m also finding that I don’t get a lot of choices and that email answers from customer service are a little bit slow. I wish that was a bit better, but I guess my overall experience has been basically ok.

I love Omnis! A friend told me to try them when I couldn’t choose a Web host. I was skeptical because of the price (I was paying a lot more with my old host) but I’m really glad I took his advice and switched. I like what Omnis has to offer, and I get almost as much with them as I was getting with my old host even though I’m paying a lot less. It’s hard to pass that up, no matter what you’re looking for in a Web host. I highly recommend Omnis.
