Hosting with Just Host has been nothing less than a pleasant experience. Their plans include everything needed for my full-featured website. With the unlimited domains feature, I will have more sites in the future and all of them on Just Host’s servers. Their cPanel is full featured (unlike some hosts).
Just Host is so reliable it is trustworthy. Server uptime has been better than expected. They guarantee uptime of 99.9%, and I haven’t yet had to call them on it. Server Maintenance (always important) is performed flawlessly and with a minimum impact on my site.
Customer Service from Just Host is excellent. When there’s a problem, there’s a resolution. And that resolution is fast! With multiple contact points for customer service, and with living, breathing people on the other ends of those points, there’s never any frustration or intimidation as with searching through tons of documentation and the like.

They really don’t know what they are doing.
I signed up with JustHost after reading lots of great review online … after just 6-8 weeks, I cant find anything good to say. I am constantly being given misinformation, misleading information and contradictory information … eg one person says domain name takes 3 days (72h) to complete, another says 7 days … and 9 days later, it has still not completed. One person says I can use cpanel even though domain name changes has completed, anoth says I cant. Onlline live chat support is worse than useless … and they always tell me to mail support@justhost.com. So, 6-8 weeks later, the site is still not live!
Have I made a big mistake, I wonder ???
timkon’s review sounds like it was written by a JustHost PR flack. Can anyone else offer an honest review? I’d like to know what the company is really like before I give them my money.
Kaitlin I agree. It does sound like pr fluff. Who knows. I set up a site with them this past weekend and so far, for a shared host, it’s been just fine. Haven’t had any issues so I can’t really vouch for the cust service problems that Andrew speaks of. By the next morning my domain was up and running. I am wondering if he is a bit inexperienced in hosting. Just my .02
Just Host is the name of the company, and it’s all you get, too. Just a place to host your site. Cheaply. You don’t get a lot of fancy stuff, you don’t get a lot of choices, and you don’t get a lot of award-winning service. But you do get a low price and a Web site, which is fine for small-timers out there on the Internet. I don’t know if I’d trust Just Host as my hosting company if I was running a business, though. Not sure if they could handle that.
I’ve been using Just Host for a few months now, and I have to say that I’ve been pleasantly surprised. I wasn’t so sure I wanted to use the company because they seemed so cheap, but I’ve learned that there’s a difference between cheap and inexpensive. Just Host is inexpensive, but they don’t give you ‘cheap’ service at all. They give you great service, and it’s much better than you’d expect for the price.
Do yourself a favor and avoid Just Host at all costs. I used them for a few months during which time I lost a lot of business to my site because it wouldn’t stay up very well. The company couldn’t seem to figure out what the problem was, and all the apologies in the world don’t make up for lost revenue. They ended up costing me a lot more than I actually spent on their hosting package. Avoid!
Just Host has been a pretty good experience overall. I had some problems with my site when they first hosted it, but they worked with me and helped me to get it straightened out. They aren’t bad when it comes to how long it takes for them to respond to service requests, and they seem to work hard in order to keep everyone’s sites up and running. While they aren’t perfect, I think I made the right choice in using them.
Just Host has been great for me. Don’t pay attention to those negative reviews! Some people will say anything just because they didn’t get their way. If you want to go with a good hosting company that won’t cost you a lot, give Just Host a try. They can really give you a great hosting experience without any worries. They respond to problems quickly and take care of them, and they do their best to give their all to their customers.
