I first signed up with fat cow about a year ago after battling with cyber wurx. A friend of mine had suggested I give them a shot. I am basically happy. Sometimes their interface is a bit slow, but I can’t really complain for the price. My site has been down one time that I can remember and their online chat feature helped me take care of the problem. Can’t really ask for more out of a shared web host.
As a complete noob to online hosting, I found their interface very easy to use. I had some problems getting things setup and their customer service, while helpful, took a while to get things resolved. Overall I am pretty happy with them.
Decent uptime, ok customer service, super simple interface. I love the script manager. Nothing to complain about really.
Went with them initially for my daughters website. Wasn’t happy. Site was down more than it was up. Ended up switching to bluehost and haven’t looked back. Others seem to love them. YMMV

Not fast at all. Good uptime. I guess it’s par for the course with shared hosting though. I just don’t have the cash to go for a dedicated server. I will say that their cust service chat is great. Really responsive and easy to talk to.

This provider has really started to suck ever since they were sold in June of 2005. I have fallen victim to constant outages with both web hosting and email handling. I am up to the point where I can’t trust that any outbound email has actually been sent due to their poor performance. I have enough service tracking numbers to support my claims. They are nowhere near 99% uptime! I would save your money and find another web host. I plan on switching service to a new provider as soon as my contract with them is up.
